Adderall 10 mg (2 pills...twice a day)?

I was just diagnosed with ADHD and my doctor prescribed me Adderall 10mg. I am supposed to take 2 pills in the morning and 2 around lunchtime. I am 26 years old and I work at an accounting firm. I find the pills to be having some effect but it's not as drastic as I had anticipated. My mind still wanders a decent amount but I don't know if that is due to the fact that I'm stuck behind a computer crunching numbers all day. I'm not sure if my mind wandering has more to do with my job or the Adderall being ineffective. I have noticed that I don't play with my hair or tap my foot as often anymore. I used to have a tough time sitting still. Is it possible that my dosage is too low? Should I look into the Adderall XR? What do you guys think?
