My boyfriend said he 'needs to think about what he wants? please help I see him tonight..not sure what to say?

Since I told my boyfriend my parents are movin away he said he now needs to think about what he wants? says he's not ready for that responsibility..it scares him..now I'm afraid also cause I'm unsure if he wants to be with me..? He asked me to move in with him.. He's just worried what if something happens between us-then i wouldn't have anywhere to go. I don't want him to feel obligated to stay with me..He says he wants to be with me but at the same time he's also saying he needs to think about it. I don't wana nag and force it out of him but I need to know what he wants..what should I say tonight when I see him?
