How come the pastor does everything in his power to coax the congregation into applause when he makes a point?

I wouldn't know, these types of scenerios doesn't happen where I attend, sometimes however, he will reiterate an important point to ensure we all are paying attention and understand, I mean tha IS why we are there, to hear God's Truths, right?...which is usually followed with many Amens :-) we do not make a show out of Worship. Worship is Not a vaudville show ...
