California Child Support Question?

My daughters mother is trying to get more money from me for Child support for our daughter. Apparently the formula says it will go up $250 more than what I already pay. I am in danger of loosing my house currently and my wife is pregnant. Is there anyway the judge would throw the formula out and be considerate and just leave the amount the same? I feel like she is just about the money. Although she did get a reduction in pay at her job. I took a major cut also, but I did not ask for this! I feel like the non-custodial parents are always the victims regardless of the cirstances...
