Western ny fishing some good trout streams?

You can't beat the good ole worm for spring bait for trout,because that's the most prevalent food source available at that time of the year.You can also catch them on Power bait.Many kinds of lures will work too,includung spinners like rooster tails,Mepps and Blue Fox Super Vibrax,Panther Martins I use white with silver blades,black w/ silver....gold and fluorescent orange,hot pink,fire tiger and chrome/blue patterns in the castmaster lures,small spoons like a Red/white daredevil,crocodile etc., virtually all small sized lures will work,Rapala and Yozuri type baits also catch them,as well as live shiners.The streams are all stocked with trout by the DNR dept.,you can visit their website to obtain a list of waters near you,take your pick.If you have the gear,try a streamer fly or a nymph drifted down the riffle into the pools.
