Im concerned about my Friend i don't know wether to drive him to a shrink or if its spiritually related?

A friend of mine has recently been babbling about seeing a lion with a mane and tail of bright light in his dreams and continuing to babble about a mark on his right arm which to me looks like a red circular birthmark no big deal He claims he can feel a type of energy in that arm for years now and im wondering do i plead with him to seek physciatric help or is there something spiritual about all of what hes saying please only serious answers im looking for both spiritual and logical answers as to whats going on with him. If anyone thinks its spiritual maybe they can give me some info on what hes saying cause it kind of makes me worry about him.
